Its far from perfect, being very expensive gem wise.

Marble armour and chainmail of displacement seem to the armours of choice in MP for thugs/SC's from what I have seen.

Hearts of Iron (the original) is just far, far superior to the follow ups in my opinion.

The game lost its soul to the new interface, just can't play HoI2.

A good guide for magic paths on mages is:-

Lvl 1 = Weak
Lvl 2 = Average
Lvl 3 = Strong
Lvl 4 = Powerful
Lvl 5+ = Pretender God

My dragons were vindictive, nasty and downright evil. I based there personility on a cat and they viewed humans (and most other humaniod races) as mice to be tormented...

Try vine shield with high protection and watch them all get entangled.

Robe of shadows is a bit rubbish, especially vs other players, as it just gives ethereal and most of what you end up fighting...
