Re: OT: Looking for a new thing...

David:
What you describe is Aikido. It's a passive form of fighting. You're not attempting to block, but to avoid a punch. And when your opponent is taking a tumble, you can land a punch of your...

Re: SE5, Tell Aaron what\'s on your Wish List

I think the biggest problem for MM is that each jewelcase costs more than the stupid paper bag. But hey, if the total price of the game rises to 2 dollars more, you won't hear me complain.
Let's ask...

Re: SE5, Tell Aaron what\'s on your Wish List

I hope the game will be released in a jewelcase. I really hate the paper "bag" that came with SE IV Gold.

Re: OT: An Interesting Read About Bit-Torrents

I could serve as the middleman. No problem.
Just remind me when the game is out, I tend to forget those things. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Re: OT: An Interesting Read About Bit-Torrents

Yeah, look that is what I meant. I want to hear a few better strategies for the RIAA.

Re: OT: An Interesting Read About Bit-Torrents

Before I start this post, I want to stress that I'm not trying to make anyone angry or annoyed.

Okay, everything said and considered about the rediculous moves of the RIAA. But what about their...

Re: Pointer Mod

The mod sounds great sofar, Urendi. I still have a question.
I really like long games with relatively slow tech progress. That way you have to do a long time with your weapons before something new...

Re: Hoping for another pair of SE4 converts...

To say it in Dutch: Geweldig! Helemaal te gek.

I wish I had relatives like that. I could play SE IV with
people near me then. Ah well, nowadays I don't have the time for that... unfortunately....

Okay, back to the matter at hand again.

Re: Pre-Christmas Chat with Aaron

The DavidG modder isn't an AI modder. It's a component modder.

Edit:
I've send my questions to David E. Gervais already. I hope he can ask them for me.

Re: Rag Tag Fleet

How far is progress on the RagTag fleet?
I'm curious which designs will make it into the fleet and which don't. Are you going to make an all new AI?

Re: Pre-Christmas Chat with Aaron

Whoa! That's a cool option. I doubt it will make it into the game. Privateer: Freelancer had that incorperated too. It was very uncomfi when you have a fight near a planet.

Re: I need some help

Damn Starhawk, that's a pretty nifty drawing. Ilike it, unfortunately people aren't my strongest point with 3D modelling.
I'm afraid I can't help you, but nice pic though.
