Sadly, you'll have to count the Ultimate Mod out of the SE4 Gold. It's just too complex for me to bring up-to-code and create the images for the SE4 Gold.

Another thing that can be done, providing thier bank doesn't overcharge for it, is to open up accounts in a bank in each country. start it with maybe 20 bucks. Then you can transfer money to it...

Actually, it just occured to me you could combine the existing ships in a weird form of kitbashing.

For example, the Converted Carrier is nothing more than a transport with a flight deck on it.

I've noted that in one of my battles I dumped mines on one of my planets. Combat began and my colony was destroyed because I mis-clicked on the fleet's destination. The Mines did not activate...

In the UM I made, the Converted Carrier is a carrier built from a small transport. Like the Babyflat-tops from the Second World War Two.

I think DieCast Mount is supposed to strengthen the ship's components but there is a bug in it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

On the up side it's easy to fix yourself.
