Re: Germans. Experience with using infantry guns?

Not ever using either before,it looks like the 10.5 recoilless would be more effective against armour with the HEAT at closer range and better at soft targets at long range.

Even though the 7.5...

It's all relative to the size, turns and map size of the battle.
For example, for an 2K pt battle with less than 20 turns on a med.map, why would one need ammo resupply?

On larger scale battle,say...

But when playing a human opponent in MBT there should...

Re: Helicopter Ammo reload

Personally, i don't use ammo units for reloading Atry,it's really unnessary unless you buy the uber low load-out MRL's and big guns and plan to pummel the opponent to the ground.

Which would be...

[/QUOTE]

I may well look into adding a negative test for either side of the equation firing as well (to stop folks banging away with arty and humping new shells into the racks at the same time)....

Actually this very comman occurance,
If a tank is in rout status whether immobolized or not, depends if the crew fails a morale check if they will bail.

Re: Germans. Experience with using infantry guns?

Looked into this, the FJ 10.5 recoilless(cost 27 at 70 exp.) has more heat rounds but no AP.
The FJ 7.5 howitizer(cost 33 at 70 exp.) has much less heat ammo but does have 5 AP rounds.
Both are size...

Re: Germans. Experience with using infantry guns?

Why provide tranports for the flak guns?
They can sit still if you deploy them right, and cover most of the field unless it's very large map.
Moving them around makes them less effective against...

Re: Close Assaults

You should look at it this way,
A fast moving Tank would be vunerable when it encounters infrantry.
It cannot fire in front or to the rear as it passes into occupied or adjecent occupied hex right?...

It also buys too much...

Why do that? when you can uninstall and reinstall anytime and of course you know Shrapnel always has the free ver.availible.

If you have no problems yet. then i wouldn't worry much about it.
