Re: Dedas please send me your email

Unfortunately, no. Hang in there and don't get discouraged--you might even want to think about hosting a game yourself. As you have noticed, demand is high and you'll have no problem finding enough...

Per FAJ's request, the game will be on quickhost to start. Players are on their on honor to complete...

Dedas please send me your email

Wednesday night was our latest scheduled start time, and I'd like to stick to it.

If I don't hear from Dedas by this evening (@6 p.m. U.S. Eastern time) I plan to let Paul_the_Avenger have his...

Re: \"Weekender\" LA TCP/IP or PBEM game

Dedas, please send me a PM with your email, and I'll send you the port and i.p. address. I really need your email before we start in case we need to switch to PBEM at some point.

Everyone else...

I.P. is still 72.226.248.17, and the port is the same. Is anyone else unable to connect?

Re: format for adding #nostart to .map file

Sweet! Just in time for my game to start, and saving me from having to figure this out myself.

It was one of your posts (as well as my playtests on Cradle) that clued me into the nostart problem...

Re: UPLOAD PRETENDERS!!!

FAJ has requested the game be quickhost to start. Turns would be untimed (due to aforementioned server problems) so everyone would be on their honor to do *at least* three turns a week.

If no one...

Re: UPLOAD PRETENDERS!!!

If someone suggests a balanced map for 11 players and there are no objections, I'd love for you to join. (It'll keep me from having to fix the damn bugs in the Cradle map myself, too!)

Re: format for adding #nostart to .map file

Do I add 512 to the current terrain value, or do I list "512" after the number currently there?

format for adding #nostart to .map file

I've read the mapedit PDF, but missed any mention of how to add #nostart info to a .map file.

Do I just simply list them at the end of the file, or is there special character(s) or something...

Re: .map and Map editor discrepancy

It's probably a different province, then. I'll double-check in a bit. I'd be happy to be wrong about this!

Re: .map and Map editor discrepancy

Indeed, I checked both spots, and this is the Cradle map that shipped with the game, not one I created. I believe the province is 99 (or perhaps another--over on the east side of the map, at any...

Re: Good High Bless strat for EA C\'tis in MP ?

I agree with you. I just threw A9 out there, since 9 is the usual high-end bless.

I'm hoping someone will chime in on whether an air-bless like this is worthwhile for these naked sacreds.

Re: Good High Bless strat for EA C\'tis in MP ?

For low-prot holies like Dancers and Flags, what about something like A9/F9 to protect them for archers?
