By the way... Replacing Life support by "Crew" that give combat bonus can be good.
On little fighter it would be (I don't know how to say it in english) an optional additional crewman that fire...

I never had such a problem with colony ship. With pop tramsport it's true but a 4000m homeworld can spawn a full colony ship every turn without problem.

I already get Irradiated homeworld though. And more generally with a 5-planet start and gas giant I have most of the time an Huge planet well suited to do colonizer without rushing.

There is more O2 breather, so try to avoid it.

Oh, and if you use Fyron's Quadrant mod, forget the "none" atm for two reason :

Turn 1-3 : a base space yard per turn that will make scout ship, mine, and/or early war fleet
turn 4-10 : colony ship
turn 11+ : the planet begin making mine and/or scrap his space yard to build...

1 - The NewBorn Quadrant cause trouble. I use DeLuxe Fyron Quadrant and the last ImageMod (I have no problêm with nearby all others mod)
