they are FAR from being recon units, but i'm sure you can see "a few guys running around" or "something that looks like a tank" from an airplane, they arent recon units, they just see the things and...

What if the player could pick either south or north in western/eastern europe section of the campaign map selection? this could solve your problem, i think.

The "cheap tank" in general does not carry an infantry squad inside but aside from that there is the little problem that Germany does not have any "cheap tank, a reserve tank, cs tank or obsolate...

Simply picking a Rifle section and changing it's name in the editor will do, eliminating the need for OOB changes, thus, not messing with anyone's pbem.

Yes, it is possible to give every unit their own icon, but that would require editing the OOB.
The main concern with editing an OOB is that PBEM opponents would get a security flag.

If you REALLY need to fight them, Jpz is your best chance, move light panzers around to draw fire, then use your Jpz to kill the strongest armour, a good thing is that the french have...
