How about global enchantments? If you're casting a damaging global enchantment and have a death bless, it seems that would make it highly worth it to throw on a shroud for the casting.

I've also never played multiplayer, and would like in on a newbie game. Although I haven't tried and can't be sure, I don't think I would like blitz games and would prefer a more regularly paced...
