True, but it also depends on the sizes of the textures in question. With a little scaling, a multi-texture model could be kept down to reasonable size. And, depending on how texture resources are...

The actual work flow isn't that difficult. Here is an L3 example:

1. Build the ship in DoGA L3 and export as a single 'part'.

2. Open Metasequoia LE and load in the ship as a part.

What's your current status on that PAME bug? I think I replied off list several weeks ago. One possiblity that has come to mind is that a progressive JPG image might freak out the image library...

Sorry, but I absolutely hate the text used on the Vorlon Intro image. It took me a few momement to figure out what it was (besides annoying.) The double image effect of the text was not a good...

After you get it downloaded and installed, check out what Version it is. There are patches mentioned in the forum that should take you up to 2001_08_10b.

Add more parts, L3 has an object convertor so you can import DXF files. When I need custom organic parts or a unique shape, I just fire up a freebie patch editor like sPatch or HamaPatch.
