I have two things to say so far :

Any race that I'm at war with had better have Security details/Self destructs on their ships - those Gaim boarding parties make normal ones look weak ...

Just noticed - a lot (if not all) of the Vorlon weapons require a lot of Organics. Getting enough of those is going to slow how much minerals (and hence how many ships) they can produce. ...

I was expecting that analysing captured ships would advance me in things like Plasma Weapons, getting Centuri Medium Weapons was the one I wasn't expecting.

I suspect it has something to do with Propulsion/Fission/Fusion/Antimatter/Gravimetric tech levels, but as I know very little about the AI routines I don't know how to fix it.

I could take the Gaim - their disadvantage is that as the only non-O2 breather allowed to colonize, everybody is going to want to capture my populations in order to un-dome their Hydrogen worlds...
