Re: OT(?): Hermit Crabs and SE4 in the dark.

Doing a little exploring in a solitaire game using Ladder Mod, I colonized a planet with ruins and was "rewarded" with Rube Goldberg technology, but it doesn't seem to give any new components or...

Re: What Version of P&N should I DL?

OK, thanks for the info, Ed and Fyron.

The P&N homepage had even less info about what was different about each Version than the PBW DL page had, but I DLd a couple of Versions and will check...

What Version of P&N should I DL?

I just checked in the mod section at PBW looking for the latest Version of Pirates & Nomads to DL, and am not sure which one to get. They aren't dated, but it appears that the highest numbered one is...

Re: different types of sensors

I just had an idea to look in components.txt to see what abilities are listed for all of this stuff. Here is what I found out:

Re: different types of sensors

Well, in the research box I see two different branches: Sensors and Scanners.

The first 3 levels of Sensors are combat sensors that are supposed to make my attack more accurate. The 4th level of...

Can I scan an enemy planet?

If I research scanners high enough, will there be some tech that lets me scan an enemy planet to see what facilities, cargo, etc it has? Is there any tech that will allow this?
