Well, I was supposed to take the weekend off, but I got up really early this morning and saw this post.. I just had to give it a shot..

So, Shadow Master.. what do 'YOU' think? Did I pull it off? Does this avatar pic suit your fancy?

..As for the 'dark spot instead of a light spot'.. ALL my avatars have a protective glass over them and thus have a reflective flair in the upper left corner. (sometimes in the upper right) ..but rest assured, I did place a 'dark' highlight underneath the reflection!

I hope you like it, and fyi: I'm not gonna do any retouches or animations with this one. (I did however give you two Versions to choose from.)
