I use my Laptop for all my computing needs so it is just 15 inch LCD screen. Running at 1024X768. I can't stand 800X600. Everything is too big. 1600X1200 is just too dang small. My dad has a 20 inch flat screen viewsonic. It is an awesome monitor. He is running at 1600X1200.
Oh and with my Laptop, the LCD screen decommendation for my computer is 1600X1200. I say forget that.
I hope XP works good for you. So far so good just prey and hope it stays like that.
Sounds like you got a decent system there. I wouldn't mind having it. Although I would prefer Pentium over Athalon (Nothing wrong with Athalon just personal preferance.
