Have any of you ever read books by Rick Cook called:
Wizard's Bane
and
The Wizardy Compiled. They are about a computer programmer who gets drawn into a fantasy world and who creates a magic compiler for building magical spells. David G's Avatar always reminds me of the hero in those books.

At some point, I'll have to try and do a screen capture of 'Raynor' from StarCraft and get some help making an avatar for myself.
