walking to the carnival,
Looking around the fairground,
I spot a contraption,
That looks like fun.

For just a dollar,
can test my skill,
Impress all my friends,
and win a prize.

I grab the mallot,
swing all my might,
watch the lights,
move up the pole.

I hold my breath,
and hope to hear,
The bell go *Ding*,
and my friends cheer.

But I never hear,
that fatefull *Ding*,
the lights stop short,
the test I failed.

But have no fear,
for one dollar more,
I can try again,
to sound the bell.

Been there, done that, again and again, and I still have no prize.
