Doesn't that apply to all units in cargo? Or are the Weapon Platforms hit before Troops and other units?
From my observations, all units in cargo on a planet are hit in ascending order from smallest to largest. It's a real pain when you play solo and the AI has 30 mines in cargo with multiple Weapon platforms, as your ships shoot out the mines, the weapon platforms shoot out your ships.
