I remember Ascendency. Great concept, but pretty lousy execution. The 3D systems were really neat, but the bugs and horrible AI killed a promising game. It even had good music.
Empire Deluxe! I still dust that off on occasion when it's time for mindless conquering.
Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate is a great game if you are interested in the 40K miniatures game (which I am).
Diablo II still lingers, also. Just can't quite bring myself to delete all those characters...
