I noticed that tooas a few other things as well regarding the message screen.

I have tried to test it more, but I believe this has to do with the message window "remembering" where you were when you Last viewed it. I have seen the 3rd, 7th, each line being lit up when you get the box at the begining of the turn, I also have had times it was blank. if you click on the scroll bar section, it will drop the Messages back down, even tho it looks like no scroll is available (IE no Messages).

Everyone will have to be cautious. you might miss your first so many Messages. Just because the screen is only half full, does not mean you don't have a couple of pages there.
