[Growltigger]

Gosh, I havn't read Robert E Howard's Conan stories for donkey's years. They were brill, can you still get them?

I always remember a great poem from a story of his called "The Scarlet Citadel", it went something (very roughly) like this..

"What care I for sophist guile
The guilt, the craft, the lie
For I was born in an barren land
Beneath a crimson sky
dum de dum de dum de dum
dum dum dum de dum broadswords sing
Step in and die you dogs
I was a man before I was a king"

I also had a cat called "Crom", the other was called "Shem" and the vet thought I was a complete idiot
