It’s a bit thin, perhaps the Branch Davidians had a plan too, or perhaps Ruby Ridge was really a renegade think tank. Seriously guys, we war game everyone, and we do papers on almost everything that you can imagine. I would have expected a quote from one of the respectable think tanks that ring the beltway here.
Clinton had no desire to remove Saddam, he was too busy emulating him. I think the point of the article was the the current crop of US administrators are the ones who came up with this. Like Wolfy, Rummy and others. So if Wolfy wrote a paper telling of his plans for US world dominiation and then got power and his ideas came to fruition is it just a coincidence?
And as people are still giving the French a hard time I'm going to continue with my Fun with Americans series of mangled quotes
If the Americans are happy with George W then Clinton was unnecessarily brilliant - Mangled from somewhere yet again.
