Not intended? Are you mis-reading the game description? Hmmm, actually I said "premitted", but that was a typo. It's supposed to say "permitted". Is premitted actually a word that means "not permitted"?

Hypothetically speaking it's possible to restrict gifts and tributes of any kind, and it's possible to restrict technology gifts or trades. It's not possible to restrict trades involving ships, planets, or anything other than tech. But the question is moot for the purposes of this game because I am not restricting anything. Just keep in mind every game is Last man standing, no alliance victories. So anything you trade can and will be used against you.
