I've seen claims that annual revenues for the computer gaming industry surpassed Hollywood back in 2001.
I am not sure, but I strongly suspect those figures include the hardware sales of PS2 and other consoles. Now, if you count in all the popcorn sold in cinemas, Hollywood will come first
