Don't read the entire newbie faq thread. Just find the post that is the latest Version, and use the find feature to search for answers to specific questions.
Also, you can go to
Malfador's web site and then to the SE4 section. Look for the Mods List link on the right side panel, and click on it. It has descriptions of and links to most mods for se4 (and others will be added as they are uncovered).
