Andromeda's awesome, but I started getting sporadic with it ever since the third season. All of a sudden, the Commonwealth was reestablished and I feel like I missed a few eps when I didn't. Ah well, working on the DVD collection.
There was also the old Space: Above and Beyond series. No shields, carrier/fighter reliance.
