No, the names aren't consistent :-( The ++ set was never really established all that clearly. Eventually I guess the various mods that use the images (proportions and adamant so far, I think) will come to some sort of agreement among themselves. Then those shipsets you mention will have to either re-issue themselves or have those extra images wasted.
