I was able to duplicate you Cloaking error. You will need to download the full mod from
http://astmod.com and then apply the 1.9.1 patch.
The AST mod uses custom modded AI's designed specifically to use the new technologies and racial traits of the mod. The mod also uses the Fyron Quadrant Mod Delux, 2.4 which employs the Planet Image Pack.
Also the mod has new componets that also use the component image mod.
I guess I could make a dry Version of the mod that would work with basic ship sets, but the race AI's would not use the new technology, only the generic AI's would.
Hummmm, I think I will fiddle around with this. I am still need to make the mod 1.49 playable as well.
