If you read further down you will see the fix for the Cardassian missing BMP. You need to open the Cardassian folder and rename the Cardassian_Portrait_BattleCruiser1 to Cardassian_Portrait_BattleCruiser
Many fixes have been mentioned already so please if you can, read more of the thread.
