Did you ever see Independence Day where Jeff Goldblum's father in the movie (played by the guy who I think used to be on taxi) tells him that he should get off the floor or he'll catch cold? From that, Jeff Goldblum's character profusely thanks his brilliant father for giving him the idea for a computer virus. Ironically enough, this is the only time in the history of humankind that a computer virus is good for something.
It should be very easily possible to go through all planet bitmaps and specify which wants you want to be rock, ice and gas. Then, you and me both won't say to ourselves: Hey, that one has got to be an ice planet--only to find out it's Rock or Gas giant. Good thinking!
I've been having entirely too much fun writing programs to read the SE4 data files. I have one that lets me scroll through all the components and view their values as well as the small and large bitmaps. It should be possible to modify that program to read in Data\SectType.txt and display the planets from Pictures\Planets.
