That's an element of the southern dialect of which I was not aware. Got any more? I wasn't aware it was Southern. Actually, I thought it was a Northern term. All I could think of besides that was shopping cart.
Of course, some things you grew up with are hard to identify as being typically Southern. For example, someone had to explain to me that, "bad off", is a Southern term. Hmmmm...
