Here is another update....even though nobody has replied to this thread yet....oh well, sometimes you have that....Just wondering though, is it possible to upgrade Weapon Platforms and Sattelites? (and Fighters too?)

2403.5 - Just over a year has passed since my Last break...The Empire continues to grow, but only stellar northward. We have extended our influence as far as Delta Lyra, taking physical control over Al kalb al Rai and Apollo systems. I currently have a colony ships heading to Delta Lyra, Al kalb al Rai, and Bothawui to increase Imperial influence in these systems. I also have 4 DS-Attack Ship I Class ships guarding the Altratonna system (Emperor's Guard Fleet). Also in the process of building another fleet to head to the Delta Lyra system for border guard duty.

The Dra'kol Empire continues to refuse to form a Military Alliance...They have yet to break out Trade & Research Alliance, but I really would like to solidify our joint positions in this star cluster a bit more. So far, the only size ships I have seen the Dra'kol put in space are Frigates...At least right now, I think I have the upper hand with Destroyers.

Research is moving along nicely. I have only 2 more stellar months until Sensors Level 1 is researched, then I will research Propulsion Level 3....then I will focus on obtaining Light Cruiser Tech. I now have Capital Ship Missles II, but I am not able to figure out how (if) I can upgrade Satellites and Weapon Platforms....I am hoping I can, and that I am just missing something.

System defense is moving along too slowly. I need to build a few more Satellite Launchers so I can seed my warp points more quickly.

The Empire currently holds 10 planets, in 7 systems (3 of which are contested with the Dra'kol Empire. The Empire stretches from Altratonna to as far west as Bothawui, and as far north as Delta Lyra.

The loadout of my latest Destroyer combat ship: DS-Attack Ship I : 6 Ion Engine II's; 1 Shield Generator I; 2 Capital Ship Missle I's; 2 Depleted Uranium Cannon II's; and 1 Supply Storage I.

I will probably start upgrading these to a more updated ship once i start research on Light Cruisers....which should happen within 6-8 months. As of right now, I am not threatened....at least not to the point where I am in danger, as I have a Trade & Research Alliance with the only Empire I have come into contact with (Dra'kols).
