I wouldn't be concerned about the mod. It's really small and just adds some balance and additional features to the standard game - some that are quite handy for role-playing.

Are the Hyach a Babylon-5 race? Anyways, Since I don't think it's a technically 'canon' shipset, that's fine - just be sure to create a unique history etc. and not based on whatever was seen on the B5 show.
