A good point was (inadvertantly) made below:

The US post office (like an ISP) moves mail with information and demagraphics around (like an ISP) from person to person. The US post office doesn't collect and maintain data on who sent what to whom (generally speaking) so why should a similar entity be able to do it and get away with it just because the format changed from paper to data? That is some really ****ed ** ***t !
