They are loosely based on a simular ship design. But if you look you will see that they are differant in many regards.
And the Andorians and Illuminati current sets are exactly the same.
The new sets have ONE simular ship. The rest are all distinguished by their details.
One is Star Trek based the other is not. So having simular looking ships is perfectly ok. At least they are not exactly the same as the current sets are.
