Title Narcotics - Vice Activity Location 2718 W. Vermijo
Summary On 08-19-03 members of the Metro VNI Clandestine Laboratory Response Team (CLRT), along with CSPD TEU executed a search warrant at 2718 West Vermijo for a suspected Methamphetamine Lab. The team recovered items consistent with the production of Methamphetamine and 6 weapons, 3 hanguns, 1 rifle, 1 shotgun and 1 machine gun. Three subjects were arrested for Unlawful Manufacture of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance. Two will have an additional charge of Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender. One will have the additional charge of Theft Receiving (stolen weapon). As of this date Metro VNI has investigated 119 Methamphetamine Labs. At this same time, in 2002, Metro VNI investigated 104 Methamphetamine Labs. There have been 29 children associated with Methamphetamine Labs in 2003.
