Hmm, I can just see the EULAs that would go with the colonization licenses. This planet is licensed, not sold. By landing you agree to all terms, including delivery of your first born to MS for conditioning as Microserfs.

End-Breather Licence Agreement for Atmos Inc. Atmospheres

This End-Breather Licence Agreement (EBLA) is a militarily-backed legal agreement between you and Atmos Inc. (AI) for the atmosphere (Product) accompanying this EBLA. By breathing the Product, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EBLA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EBLA, you may not breathe the Product.

Grant of license:

The Product is licensed, not sold. AI grants you the rights to use the Product on no more than one planet for the sole purpose of one colonization effort provided that you agree:

- not to use AI's name, logo, or trademark to promote your colonization effort.

- to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Atmos Inc. from and against any claims or lawsuits, including mercenary and attorney fees, that result from your use or lack of ability to use the Product.

- to regularly send to the AI Applications department an individually identified, accurate weekly medical report on all colonists for analysis. This does not entitle you to any rights over whatever discovery or application resulting from or related in any way to such an analysis.

- not to allow access to the Product to any being or entity you know or have reason to believe has contacts with Harvesters or any other entity listed in section 5c of the New Orion Senate Secret Galactic Control Protocols (Ed.Darlok Publishing)

Description of other rights and limitations:

- You may not reverse engineer, analyze or disassemble the Product for any reason whatsoever.

- You may not rent, lease, sell, resell or otherwise transfer for value the Product.

- You may not use the Product in any other way than as expressly permitted under this EBLA.

- No Support Services will be provided for the Product, technical, medical or otherwise, without purchase of the seperate requisite licenses.

- You may not speak ill of AI or of any of AI's products.

- Without prejudice to any other rights, AI may terminate this EBLA at any time it wishes. In such event, you must cease breathing the Product and all of its component parts within a reasonable (12-hour) period after notification and destroy all supplies within 24 hours. An optional Atmospheric Destruct Device is available from AI to strip the atmosphere off your planet quickly and cleanly in the event of such termination of license.

- All your base are belong to us.

To ensure continued availability of the best products at the lowest prices, AI has entered a twofold agreement with the 7th Antaran World-Buster Legion, first as a PR team, second as a legal agent, to enforce EBLA compliance. If a dispute arises over the use or mis-use of the Product they will be dispatched as legal representatives of AI.

Disclaimer of warranties

AI provides the Product and any related services AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS, and hereby disclaim all warranties or conditions of any kind, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties or conditions of breathability, of fitness for a particular purpose, of lack of viruses, and of lack of negligence or lack of workthinglike effort, all with regard to the Product and the provision of or failure to provide Support Services. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY OF OR ARISING OUT OF USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT AND SUPPORT SERVICES, IF ANY, REMAINS WITH YOU.

Limitation of liability and remedies

In no event shall AI be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, loss of life, profits, information, or privacy, for negligence, or other loss whatsoever), direct or indirect, related or not, to the use of or inability to use the Product, or any services Atmos Inc. may ever provide, even in the event of the fault, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of contract or warranty, even if Atmos Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur for any reason whatsoever, the entire liability of Atmos Inc. and any of its suppliers and your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the lesser of the amount actually paid by you for the Product or 0.02 AU.
