You used to be able to get it from a place called chips and bits (I think) that had cheaper UK shipping options (but inferior customer service, I believe), although I don't think that arrangement is still valid.
Failing that, you could try ebay for a second hand (but NOT pirated) copy of the game. However those are rare because once they own se4, very few people are prepare to give it up.
My advice is to bite the bullet and buy from Shrapnel. Believe me, it will give you more hours of gaming per £ than you can get from anything aby other game. Except, I suppose, freeware.
