Wanted to know what exactly do the:

only allow colonizing of homeworld style planets

only allow colonizing of homeworld style atmosphere

settings do, now before i hear a whole bunch of "duhhhh"'s let me elaborate on specifics.


1)What will researching or trading colony techs acomplish with these settings?

2)Can you still capture enemy colonies that have a different atmosphere/planet type than you?

3)Can you still use enemy populations (from like capturing a colony ship)?

4)How will terraforming work, if it even makes sense to research?

5)will researching terraforming allow you to colonize different style worlds?
