That is fairly naive... it is one of the most common tactics employed by would-be pirates...
Why not just buy a copy legitimately and then make an infinite number of pirated copies to sell?
That would be a tactic employed by physical pirates. Digital pirates either give stuff away for free, or trade it for other pirated software...
