Out of idle curiosity, what Empire are you playing Vezzra? I am always curious when it comes to important wars.
As the situation is quite peaceful in my own quadrant (I mean, I only have troubles with an AI and two Empires with which I am at war because of the AI impressive wisdom), I gather you are close to the Nyxian Chaos, the Zax, the NethernoS, Ragnarok Empire (the Rorg?) and the Kilrah? When I was leading the NethernoS, a war was in preparation and it was more than ten turns ago.
