Ethically it is stealing. It is taking what you have no right to take, which comes directly from the dictionary definition. Performing such an action is not morally correct.

Legally it is stealing. Copyright infringement is stealing "ideas" and such that are not your own. Again, the dictionary definition makes this clear.
