The mix of races don't do much good if you stack on a world that one of the races can live on without a dome as game will threat that world domed.In my recent game I tend to built as bases with cargo hold on my colony ship producing planets and fill them will specimens for all atmosphere types that I have aquired.That way I can choose right race for planet to colonize and I don't make that planet domed.
