(a) SE4 and PBW have been around a lot longer than KOTH or the Ratings system... many years, in fact.
I have played many PBW games over the years... I have seen many players execute good strategies, as well as poor strategies.
I do indeed favor roleplaying... though roleplaying the annihiliation of entire empires is always fun. What I do not enjoy, however, is being ranked. I do not care if I am better or worse than others. I just play to have fun. This is (partially) why I dropped out of KOTH and never joined the Ratings system.
The reason you have not seen me in PBW games is probably because I have hardly joined any new ones in... 8 months? Something like that... got burned out on PBW... they get repetitive after a while.
Oh, and modding the game causes you to learn a lot more about it.
(b) No, that is my real birthday. It was set to that in the forum profile long before the twin towers fell. Ask some oldbies that read those things.
I am not sure whether to be flattered or offended that you do not believe that is my real birth date...
1984 is a good book, however. Pure coincidence that I was born in 1984.
(c) Forum Ratings are, quite frankly, absurd. They tell you nothing meaningful.
(d) I joke enough over instant messaging and in real life. I've actually contributed (for my part) to the Ruatha thread, though many of those Posts were lost when it lost some 1000 Posts... century posting anyone?
Nonsense just gets tiring after a while...
(e) Debating is fun, and the people here are quite enjoyable.
Too young to be married... (in any sort of meaningful marriage, of course)
