Well, back then, it would have been 5 1/4" discs. Cd's were still fairly new back then, and I can't remember if they were using cd r/w back then, not that I could have afforded to have one even if Commodore did make one. I know hard drives were fairly expensive back then, usually costing several hundred dollars.
