They did. Operation Market Garden was a disaster for the Allies, and almost cost them the war. Fortunately, even though they lost that battle, the Allies eventually won the war. I wouldn't mind seeing a Version from the German's point of view, but even after 60 years, I think the German's are still sensitive about the war, and I don't know how a movie about a German victory would be taken. Maybe that's why they make films like Stalingrad, which was a defeat for the Germans.
