Here is my latest Version of the UFP (Federation) ship set. There is a readme included in the zip along with an emp file, a system names file and a ship names file (dsgnname). You will note with this set I place backgrounds on the portraits. These are in many cases actual pictures taken by NASA and cropped and sized to fit. All the mini's use black backgrounds that have been cleaned up from my earlier Version so that they don't show through on lighter backgrounds. You will also find one additional shipclass in my set that I call a battlestar class. Larger than the dreadnought. If you care not to use it just delete it from the set. The AI files are taken from the Terrans and slightly modified. Everything should be explained in the readme. If you have questions email me at
