When I started my mod I was using Warp_nine's races as a base and adding others to fill out the game. You can't tell from the screen shot, but I have used your pics for most of the races.
I do like the blue background, but I kind of like having some blue and some black instead of all the same.
At some point I want to talk to you more about this. I noticed a couple of the races, Adndorians and Benzenites escpecially, seem to be affected by the blue background. There skin coloration seems to be off.
But right now I am fighting to urge to go back and make changes to images. I am afraid if I keep twaeking I will never get this posted.
We'll look at that for ver. 1.1.
