There is a great community of Diplomacy players who play via e-mail. Just do a search on-line to find them. I followed a few games about 7 years ago, but never played.
Some of these games Lasted more than a year and the players became good friends. Even an observer(me)was accepted into the community. I still have three 2" binders full of information and strategy articles I copied from the web. Should really get them out and think about playing again...
