SE IV Gold is very much an an active and ongoing game with recent additions to ship sets averaging one or two per month. We currently have nearly 25 or more GOLD ready mods including Adamant, Starfire, Star Trek, TDM, etc.

Whomever gave you the impression that SEIV is not played any more must have been talking about another game.

The membership of this forum grows daily as do the the number of people joining www.pbw.cc

Please take the time to look at all the new ship sets and mods before you stop playing SEIV.

Gold was a bonans of successful mods, ship sets, utility programs, art work, and fan fiction. SEIV is very much alive and well.

For current information, I hope, look at the second sticky from the top of this forum. Important SEIV stuff. Also click on the links in my signature for more SEIV related things, and be sure to visit www.spaceempires.net for all the greatest downloads. State of the Art Ship Yards and Tesco's site also have listings for most if not all of the ship sets currently available for download.
