	Rome (the city) was over 1 million at its height in the old days of the Empire. So was the capital of the Han dynasty in China. Many cities had populations in the 100 thousands during the height of various empires. The Dark Ages in Europe were a period of great decline, including population levels. Same with all the other Dark Ages throughout history.Quote:
