I don't think there is a Gold-compatible Version of the Junkyard Mod yet... not to say that one would be hard to make! Though it would seem rather appropriate to spice it up a bit with mobile research facilities and junk monsters and stuff....... who knows where to stop???
edit: no, not mobile RESEARCH facilites! those would defeat the whole purpose of the mod!
